Sanken Marks Key Milestone in Wayamba University City Development
The official launch of the Wayamba University City Development Project took place on 14th July 2025, marking a significant milestone in the region’s educational infrastructure development. As the main construction partner of the project, Sanken was represented at the ceremony by Chief Operating Officer – Eng. Susil Rodrigo and Assistant General Manager (Projects) – Eng. S. Senthan, alongside members of the project team whose dedication and professionalism played a key role in the project’s success. Their presence underscored Sanken’s deep commitment to quality, timeliness and long-term value in every project undertaken.
Commenced in 2021, the project comprises the construction of six modern buildings designed to support the future growth of the university and enhance academic facilities in Sri Lanka.
