Skills Training & Management (STAM) Institute, Kaduwela was begun in 2006 to attract youth, to the Construction industry by introducing them modern Construction technology, to enhance their knowledge and to develop their skills, so that the Construction industry in the country would benefit, and those youths gainfully engaged in Construction technology would find employment within the country and overseas.

We have acquired accreditation to conduct a range of courses in the Construction industry. Among them, Construction Supervisor, Draughtsperson, Mason and Bar-bender at NVQ level 4 are prominent categories. It is with pride that we mention that we still remain the only private organization entitled to issue certificates at NVQ level 4 for the said categories of courses.

Skills Training and Management (Pvt) Ltd. has now been empowered with a number of entitlements ranging from authority to conduct courses pertaining to the Construction industry, and issue certificates at NVQ level 4 up to employing workers directly in countries elsewhere at our Construction Projects with the concurrence of the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau.

We have acquired accreditation to conduct a range of courses in the Construction industry. Among them, Construction Supervisor, Draughtsperson, Mason and Bar-bender at NVQ level 4 are prominent categories. It is with pride that we mention that we still remain the only private organization entitled to issue certificates at NVQ level 4 for the said categories of courses.

Besides, we are in a position to provide accommodation to the students. Apart from permanent academic staff, our Engineering staff engaged in the Sanken projects assists in the delivery of lectures to the students. The students are thereby privileged to gain first hand information through this arrangement.

Additionally, this pool of skilled personnel would be employed after an intensive training program by the same institute and thereafter could be sourced individually or as teams to those who require their services.

As national ventures, we are engaged in assisting the government reawakening projects such as Gamidiriya, Youth Corps and Sri Lanka Armed forces.
