Sanken Wins Contract for Renuka’s Rs. 3.9Bn ‘Galle Face Icon’

Sanken Construction (Pvt) Limited had entered into a contract with Galle Face Properties Ltd., a part of Renuka Holdings PLC, for the construction of the ‘Galle Face Icon’ at Galle Face Terrace in Colombo 03 for a value of Rs.3.9 billion.

In a stock exchange filing today (14) the company said that its subsidiary, Galle Face Properties Limited had entered into a contract on 10th January 2020 for the construction of ‘Galle Face Icon’ (formerly known as ‘Renuka tower’) at Galle Face Terrace in Colombo 03 with Sanken Construction (Pvt) Limited of No : 295, Madampitiya Road, Colombo 14, for a value of Rs.3,903,675,666/-.

Galle Face icon is a 32 Level Mixed Development Project consisting of A-Grade premium office space, office amenities, service suites, recreational area and ample parking situated at Colombo 3 between the Beira Lake and Galle Face Green.
